New City Sunday School
Join us each Sunday morning at 8:45 as we study the Word through our Sunday School ministry. The New City Church Sunday School operates under the T.E.A.M.S. concept with a Teacher, Evangelist, Administrator, Minister and Service Coordinator in each class. As we study the Word of God each Sunday morning, The T.E.A.M.S. concept challenges each member to actively get involved.
The Sunday School literature is published by Urban Ministries, Inc. where lessons are based on International Sunday School Lessons from the International Bible Lessons for Christian Teaching.The NCC Sunday School classes are as follows:
Men Bible Class
"I beseech your brethren, by the mercies of God, present your bodies a living sacrifice, Holy (set apart), acceptable unto God which is your reasonable service."
The Mens's Bible Class challenges the brethren of New City Church to walk in a spirit of excellence by first having a firm foundation in God's Word. This class, lead by Elder Ronnie Austin, seeks to train the minds of men to have the mind of Christ. Through study and sharing of life's experiences, men are built up to face the struggles of living out a heavenly existence in a corrupt society.

Adult Women Class
"Tell older women to live their lives in a way that shows they are dedicated to God. Tell them not to be gossips or addicted to alcohol, but to be examples of virtue. In this way they will teach young women to show love their husbands and children, to use good judgement, and to be morally pure."
The Women's Bible Study group is dedicated to studying the Word of God so that our lives will truly reflect the Truth. In order to be Godly examples to younger women, we must be firmly rooted in the Word of God.
We celebrate each other with our Sister-2-Sister project which encourages accountability and assures that someone is always praying on our behalf.

Combined Adult Class
"Encourage one another to outbursts of love and good deeds, and fail not to gather yourselves together, as others do, but encouarge and warn each other especially now since the time of His return is drawing near."
The Combined Adult Class welcomes couples who wish to study the Word of God together. Lead by Min Priscilla McWilliams, this class esteems to build up team ministry and sharpen leadership skills for men and women matriculating in the work force. Quarterly fellowships provide opportunities for classmates to grow personally as brothers and sisters in Christ.

New Members/Inquirers Class
Before choosing a church home one would need to consider the church's foundation, structure, function, and enviroment. Therefore, The New City Church encourages visitors who are seaching for a church home to please consider attending this class (as it will help you to make an intelligent decision in choosing a church home).
The New City Church Inquirers/New Member Class is designed for those individals who have expressed an interest in becoming a part of this church family. It is also designed for those who want to inquire, to find out who we are, what our doctrinal beliefs are, our mission, values , and vision. It also give us, The New City Church, an opportunity to get to know the inquirer.
